「は」for emphasis & comparison

When particularly mentioning something, use 「は」to emphasize it.

①　わたしは映画えいがを見みません。
I don’t watch movies.

②　わたしはこの映画えいがは見みません。
I don’ｔwatch this particular movie.

In sentence ②, you want to say that you don’t watch この映画えいが, so you actually watch other movies.

③ 魚さかなは好すきですが、肉にくは好すきじゃないです。
I like fish but I don’t like meat.

→魚さかなが好すきです／肉にくが好すきじゃないです

④ 朝あさご飯はんは食たべません。
I don’t eat breakfast (but I eat lunch and dinner).

→朝あさご飯はんを食たべません。

⑤ ビールは好すきなんですけど、今日きょうは車くるまで来きたので飲のめないんです。
I do like beer, but I can’t drink today because I came here by car.

original particle
→ビールが好すきです

⑥ きのう、あの店みせには行いきませんでした。
I didn’t go to THAT shop yesterday (but I went to other places).

original particle
→あの店みせに行いきませんでした。

⑦ ここでは wifiが使つかえません。
I can’t use wifi here.

→ここでwifiが使つかえません。

NOTE
You can replace 「を」 and 「が」 with 「は」, but you need to add 「は」after other particles.
